Doctor Who: I Am a Dalek

by Gareth Roberts, 104 pgs, paperback
Series: Doctor Who

Overall Grade: B+

It reads pretty much like an episode of Doctor Who. Instead of heading to the Moon, the TARDIS drops Rose & the (10th) Doctor in present day (England?) where they encounter a young woman who comes back to life after being hit by a car and an archeological dig that uncovers a Dalek (will those infernal things never go away?) Needless to say it all gets wrapped up pretty quick. Like the top of the cover says, this really is a quick read. It reminds me a lot of the juvenile novelizations I used to read when I was a kid -thin paperbacks with largish font. Except I don't think those ever mentioned the word 'sex' so this must be an adult book.
