Moving Pictures

by Terry Pratchett, 350 pgs, paperback
Overall Grade: B-
Series: Discworld

One of the few Discworld novels I hadn't read up to this point. Discworld take on, you guessed it, the film industry. Lots of C.M.O.T. Dibbler along with a couple of 1-fer characters and some of the earliest appearances of Detritus, Ponder Stibbons, and other Unseen University faculty. Not as raucously funny as some of the other books, but it has several good lines.

Also this was not the cover I have on my copy. But apparently I own an edition that doesn't exist because I couldn't find any pictures of that particular cover.

Star Trek: Enterprise: The Good That Men Do

by Michael A. Martin & Andy Mangels, 446 pgs, paperback
Overall Grade: B

These authors get props for writing a more fitting "end" for Trip, because the way they kill him off in the TV series sucks.
