Yea! This movie gets probably my last A grade of the year, just sneaking under the flag onto the A-list of 2006. Whoo. This is a good movie. I found it quite funny and my parents shushed me several times because I was laughing so loudly in the theater. Seriously, it was great. The T-Rex is so cute! And Jed & Octavius (played by Owen Wilson & Steve Coogan respectively) are hilarious! I don't really buy it being a "natural history" museum because that would mean you only have geology and science stuff in it, not ancient peoples, but whatever... I'm willing to let it slip for an excellent movie! Go see it!

Kinda funny. But it doesn't have much of a plot. And I got tired of all the tap-dancing before the end. Ugh. But as Ramon says, "Man! That guy is so accidentally cool!"

Could it just be because I haven't watched enough movies that this seemed really good? I love the gritter feel to this Bond. I also have no problem with him being blonde. I am also not enough of a Bond-fanatic to care how the canon and/or continuity has issues. It's just a good movie. Plus the girl isn't a ditz either.

Overall Grade: B-
It gets a B for some pretty kick-a** action and a minus because it doesn't focus too much on any character and the story is unsatisfying. And as my brother pointed out, basically nothing is changed at the end of the movie. It could go right back to being the same. Bleck.
Story: Researcher say they have found a "cure" for mutants that will suppress their mutant gene(s) permanently. Then of course you get two factions, Magneto's rabble that don't want there to be any cure as it is a threat to any mutants. And the X-Men who unwittingly have to defend the government & researchers who would say that there is "something wrong" with them. Meh.
Oh yeah, and if you do watch it, wait until the end of the credits...

Uhm, I kinda excepted the next movie by the directors of 'Napoleon Dynamite' to be a little funnier or something. I dunno, it kinda felt lacking somehow. Still funny, but unsatisfying in a way that Napoleon is not.
Story: A friar 'Nacho' basically decides to secretly start moonlighting as a 'luchador' (a crazy kind of Mexican wrestling entertainment) a dream that he as always had, in order to earn money to buy better food for the boys in the orphanage that he cooks for and his order runs. Of course, wrestling ain't easy, and isn't something a friar is supposed to do anyway so you know there's going to be problems...

Okay, we're going to ignore the shaky physics and temporal loop problems...
After that, this movie is great!
The story goes something like this... Marty McFly is a high school kid, who, like his father, no one thinks will amount to much. He is friends with the eccentric scientist/inventor Dr. Brown, and meets up with him to help film his newest invention - a car retrofitted as a time machine. But things don't go as planned when Dr. Brown is killed by unhappy Libyans and Marty hitches a ride back in time using the machine. Now he has to convince an earlier version of Dr. Brown to help him fix the time machine, and set up his parents while he's at it.
