If you have been disappointed like me with the terrible spate of Star Wars extended universe novels, this book will make your day. Zahn does a superb job taking us back to the days of the Old Republic to finally explain the story of his particular pet creation Outbound Flight. So you finally get to meet the real Jorus C'Baoth, and the first encounter with Thrawn. You can pretty much tell that Obi-Wan and Anakin are through into the first part of the story for the sake of people who have no idea what is going on, although how that helps I'm not sure. Thankfully Zahn writes them out as soon as possible, and gets to the meat of his own characters. And it wouldn't be a deliciously good Star Wars novel if there aren't some surprising revelations about, oh, the origins of later technology used by the Empire, or uh, who has advanced reports about the Yuuzhan Vong. Yeah, really good book. Like you'd expect from Zahn.

What you should know about this movie: This is a Brit comedy made for Brits. So if you don't enjoy real Brit humour then there's probably no reason to see this movie. That said, there were somethings even I didn't get in terms of comedic content. Oh... and the hot chestnut sequence is pure gold. Hysterical!
